Making neighborhoods richer. 🌱 Share what you grow, make & have too much of. Coming soon. Join the neighborhood ↓ https://www.plenora.co/
Our world often hides abundance in plain sight. 🍋

Lemons over fences. Persimmons and apples in backyards. A neighbor who makes bread. 🍞

What if you could discover what's growing around you — before it goes to waste?

Our neighborhoods already have the plenty we seek. 🌿

They worked really hard on this. 🐝

Not long ago, this was sage, rosemary, citrus blossoms, and wildflowers scattered across an urban canyon. 🌿

Now it's heading home with Liz, Jasmine, Rob, Leticia, Sam, and Mr. Kim. 🍯

Good things take a lot of small trips. 🌼🐝🌼🐝🌼🐝...🍯

Kids notice when adults know their neighbors. 🍋

They see the conversations, the hellos, and the things that get shared.  🍅🍊🍞

Maybe that's how neighborhood connections get passed along, too. 🤝

One thing that surprised me meeting neighbors who shared backyard fruit:

The fruit wasn't really the point. 🍊

People talked, shared stories, traded recommendations, and met neighbors they might never have met otherwise. 🤝

The fruit started the conversation.

You posted extra lemons 🍋
Someone nearby had too many avocados. 🥑

A perfect match for today.

#Plenora is being built for small moments like this. 🌿

A few days ago, someone asked where to find homemade challah. 🍞

Today, it's headed down the sidewalk. 🏡➡️🏡

Sometimes the person who wants what you have is only a few houses away. 🌿

🥚🍞 What if sharing with your neighbors were this easy?

We’re testing an early prototype for our app that helps neighbors share & trade what they grow, make, or have too much of. 🌱

Can you give us feedback before we buid it?

Then the prototype link:

🍅 Too many tomatoes?

Every gardener has that moment.

What do you do with the extras? 🌱

Who’s next? 🥚

A dozen eggs from the backyard can end up somewhere very different from where they started.

A neighbor. A friend. Someone down the street.

What’s something that regularly gets passed around in your neighborhood? 🌱

San Jose gardeners 🌱

If your garden produced more than you could eat, what would you most want to do with the extra?

🍋 Give it to neighbors
🥕 Trade for something else
🫙 Make something with it
🗑️ Let it go to waste

What would you choose?

You ever have too many 🍋 lemons, 🍅 tomatoes, 🥚 eggs, or something you made—and think, surely someone nearby could use these?

That’s what we’re trying to solve with Plenora. 🌱

What have you had too much of lately? 👇

We’re building Plenora 🌱 — an easy way for neighbors to share what they grow, make, bake, or have too much of.

The early prototype is ready. Take a look and tell us what you think — what makes sense, what doesn’t, and what would make you use it.

Early feedback welcome. 👇

Just getting started on Bluesky 👋

I’m building Plenora — a simple way for neighbors to share what they grow, make, bake, or simply have too much of.

Lemons. Eggs. Tomatoes. Bread. Honey.

The idea: make neighborhoods feel a little more like neighborhoods. 🌱 If you're interested, say hi!
