We’re building Plenora 🌱 — an easy way for neighbors to share what they grow, make, bake, or have too much of.

The early prototype is ready. Take a look and tell us what you think — what makes sense, what doesn’t, and what would make you use it.

Thanks Peta! Let me know what you think about sharing fruits and veggies in the neighborhood!

Thats great, would you be open to sharing the prototype with any like-minded groups or friends you may have? More perspectives are always helpful.

Thank you, Diane! 🙏 That’s a really important point, and definitely something we’ll need to be careful about. 🌱

Thank you! 🙏 What’s the one thing you’d add or change in the prototype to make it more useful to you? Heres the link again : bit.ly/plenora-proto

That’s exactly the kind of sharing we’re trying to make easier. 🌱 If you didn’t already know who to share with, would you use an app to find nearby neighbors who wanted your extras and for you to see what neighbors were offering to trade?

That’s a great way to make the harvest last. 🌱 Would you use an app that also helped you find neighbors who might want the things you have more of and for you to see what extras other neighbors are offering?

Thanks Diane! I love those neighborhoods. Ive made an app to help people find more things like this, to share what they have, and to see what others are sharing. Id love your opinion on the prototype if you wouldnt mind looking at it. Thanks!

😂 The classic zucchini solution! But what if you planted more instead of less and could find lots of people to trade with, would that be useful and fun? Like for eggs, breads, other fruits? 🌱

That’s a pretty ideal setup 😄🌱 If you didn’t already have people to give them to or if youd like to ge trade offers from new people nearby, would an easy way to do that be useful ?

Those sound like they’re worth tracking down! 🌱 Would you use a local app where gardeners could share seeds, produce, or plants they have extra of?
September 6, 2026 at 9:53 AM
Exactly. 🌱 That local part is what interests me most—would you want to see what neighbors nearby have available right now?
September 5, 2026 at 9:19 PM
😂 That’s actually a pretty good neighborhood exchange. Do you ever have something to give away but no idea who nearby would want it? 🌱
September 5, 2026 at 9:19 PM
That’s great. 🌱 Do you ever have more than your neighbors can use, or does that usually take care of everything?
September 5, 2026 at 9:18 PM
That’s really interesting and a very annoying problem. 🌱 If you could make one thing easier about finding or sharing surplus locally, what would it be?
September 5, 2026 at 9:18 PM
😂 I also feel that “too many figs” is actually a real problem. 🌱 What do you do when you have more than you can eat?
September 5, 2026 at 9:16 PM
😂 That sounds like a pretty efficient system. But when the kitchen can’t keep up, what happens to the extras? 🌱
