states who experience this should be sending out mailers to everyone in the state telling them to call their congressmen. not having press conferences about it, not posting about it. go straight to the voters and make them get it

one of the fears i have about democrats running on "KiTchEn tAbLE iSsuES" is that when the time comes, they won't have the guts to turn around and really go hard after the people who've raided the coffers and caused the deaths and misery. actually running on that makes it harder to fail to do so
👇🎯 The closest person to articulating this "We're going to rewind everything & this time put everyone in jail for the authoritarianism & corruption" approach is Jon Ossoff, & I do not think it is coincidental how quickly his profile has risen as a potential 2028 presidential candidate.
I think one of the big ironies of the present moment is that there literally is a big Fix Everything Now button for Dems, and it's "Purge the earth of Trump and all his works," but instead of saying that they've diverted into a bunch of food and labor economy issues they can't actually solve

trying to imagine how hegseth sees this playing out, since the T supplements are optional. can an officer's career get underhandedly knocked off track if he doesn't take his T supplements? like a CIA agent that didn't want to join the torture program?
in the same way chuck schumer has those imaginary long island voters hes trying to win over, pete hegseth has this John Army guy he's made up in his head and he spends his time figuring out how to make John Army be bigger, whiter, tougher, more sadistic, and more virile
