Thames Water asks millions to stop using hosepipes to save water.

Get a few days sunshine and infrastructure can't cope.

TW built no new reservoir since 1989, loses 570m - 592m litres of water daily to leaky pipes

Sewage dumped in rivers. Customers fleeced. TW still trades.

Demand for water has increased by up to 50 per cent in some areas of London and the South East, Thames Water said

You will notice that from 1900-1960 taxes were lower but tax receipts were higher.

That's because Tax Havens didn't exist.

Now the richest 1% with nearly 50% of the money choose to pay almost no tax.

Tesco are making £4bn a year in profit.

About 50% of their staff are on Universal Credit.

Why don't we crackdown on this unneeded benefit for billionaires?

A new far-right terror attack in the UK has been confirmed in court. Alina Burns, then 18, tried to behead an Iranian refugee who was standing outside a barber's shop in Bristol with an axe

The attack took place on 2 August 2025 but a judge did not rule on 'terrorism connection' until today

Cooper is asked if Burnham should be given a way back to the commons. She dodges the Q.

The political project of those controlling Lab is built around one policy - destroying the left, & because they see Burnham as being on the left, they'd rather burn the party to the ground

The people running Labour and their media friends already proved that they would work themselves sick to smash Britain into PM Boris Johnson and diamond-hard Brexit, rather than concede an inch. Do you think the same people will balk at now doing the same thing to avoid the posh National Front?

I’m not sure there is a bleaker - or older - phenomenon in politics than desperate voters turning to charlatans and bigots for change. Reform councillors will do nothing to help someone’s elderly Mum get social care or keep the local library open for kids. And Farage is laughing his arse off.

After every set of council elections i am depressed by how male-dominated and middle-class the punditry is and how little we hear from the people who actually use council services much.

An RAF surveillance drone spent 13 hours over Lebanon on 8 April, overlapping with Israeli strikes that killed over 250 people, raising questions about Britain’s role.

The UK has offered no clear explanation.

Do we not think it might have been useful for the public to know Keir Starmer’s campaign manager was Peter Mandelson’s protege, at this point? Because it looks a lot like key people understood this was a bleak, utterly cynical fraud, and they chose to keep that info to themselves, for some reason.

MSM reporting on Epstein as if it's completely separate to the UK political class. As if Mandleson hasn't been influencing Starmers Lab for years now, incl McSweeney being Peties general. And Starmer then giving Petie any job he wanted, even when wholly aware of his relationship with Epstein.
Seems to me like the big question here is “who knew what, and when did they know it”.
