A fun little piece I did while traveling in WA, based off of a photo my housemate took of a local coyote dad a few years back.

The rep who called the badger from the queue, a brown, long-eared dog, sits at his desk as a large shadow of a man looms over him. “Alright. You listenin’?” The badger starts. “Cuz zI’m gonna talk real straight with you.” 3. The badger stands in a vulnerable stature. Scratching his belly nervously, looking away at the small rep. “It’s hards fer me bein’ in crowded places like this. M-Makes me anxious… ‘n talk funny. So, uh. I’m askin’ that you please be patience with me.” 4. The rep understands the badger’s plight clearly. Although his choice of words make it a little difficult, he assures the large, brave badger in kind. “Of course. We’ll get you out of here in no time, sir.” The badger softens. “T-Thank yew. I apreeshutates yer kindness.” This comic is based on a true story. Something I witnessed in real life at my local DMV some time ago. It was too precious and relatable for me not to put to paper.
