Heading deeper into the rabbit hole gave me some great results!

I adore when people lean into the visceral and narsty parts of body horror and monster stuff and this is from a fic called Egriss, where Monster!Simon is dialed up to 11 but very thoughtfully!

Third panel shows a close up of Ryland's eyes, behind his glasses, concerned. Grace: "Simon. Simon, you are here. You're on the ship." His right hand is applying ointment to the scarring on Simon's face while he looks away, flushed and clenching his fist. Dialogue: Grace: is this okay? Simon: *silence* Grace: Simon? Simon: y-yeah. Simon's body is facing the viewer, shirtless with both muscles and scarring exposed, arm missing from the shoulder socket. He's wearing one of Grace's jumpsuits with the upper body part tired around his waist. He's holding his shirt in his right hand with his arm lifted in an "L" that's making his bicep flex a bit. His face is directed to the left of the viewer, looking back to the right with a somewhat sad face at Arm-ando. Arm-ando is holding a bottle with his central armature and swabbing the missing arm site by the shoulder with, presumably, disinfectant with another armature. Ryland Grace has entered the scene, glasses slightly askew, with a mug of "I can't believe it's synthetic coffee" to an eyeful of very muscular and handsome topless man being treated and has dropped the mug. "Simooooooooh...", his enquiry is cut short by the scene, causing a notable blush and in his thought bubble he's beet red and panic faced.

foolhearteyes Oh, okay. I see. You think this has nothing to do with you. You go to your closet and you select out, oh I don't know, that gaslight gatekeep girlboss meme, for instance, because you're trying to tell the world that you think modern feminism has been co-opted by corporations. But what you don't know is that that meme is not from Instagram, it's not from Twitter, it's not from Tiktok, it's actually from Tumbir. You're also blithely unaware of the fact that in January 2021, Tumblr user missnumber1111 posted, "today's agenda: gaslight gatekeep and most importantly girlboss." And then I think it was a-m-e-t-h-y-s-t-r-o-s-e, wasn't it, who reblogged it with an image of the phrase edited over a piece of "Live, Laugh, Love" wall art? And then gaslight gatekeep girlboss showed up in the feeds of eight different Twitter repost accounts. Then it filtered down through Instagram and then trickled on down into some tragic "alt side of Tiktok" where you, no doubt, fished it out of some clearance bin. However, that meme represents millions of notes and countless Tumblr users and so it's sort of comical how you think that you've made a choice that exempts you from Tumblr when, in fact, you're wearing the meme that was selected for you by the people in this room. From a pile of "stuff."

At first, I understood the necessity of staying on twitter for a lot of artists doing business, but the time to leave is now.

It's impossible to escape your work being scraped at some point, but you at least don't have to be complicit. Change doesn't happen easily, show that you have a backbone.

Not only is the site actively putting a “Okay, now remix this” button below art (and elevating them above the OP with a QRT) and it’s false flagging original art as made by AI.

Since my Substack post and TMZ appearance about the UnitedHealth CEO, I've received a sizeable influx of conservative followers (even paying ones!). It's really telling how united the public is on their feelings about this, while the MSM/people in power continue to pearl clutch.
