It all just drives me mad. People (disproportionately children) are gonna keep getting injured and killed by drivers who have been given carte blanche to get away with dangerous speeding. No amount of evidence can convince these ghouls of anything. Dangerous driving is held as their God-given right.

The CEO of Volvo is on record as saying that if someone invented the car today and tried to get government approval it would fail. A 2 ton box that would probably be used to move only 1 person but collectively they would kill over 3000 people worldwide a day. Puts it into prospective.

Way back, 2004 Dundas EAST group advocated for 4 years. Eventually resulted in 2 car lanes converted to bike lanes.

Great topic! West Donlands Committee with Cindy Wilkie, John Wilson, et al. Advocated for healthy community (non profit housing, services, park/berm-not a flood wall, etc) Now Canary District.
