The lecture notes on "Physics of seismic wave propagations" are now available on GitHub. github.com/qnishida/sei...
These notes are incomplete compared to the Japanese version. But I believe it's better than nothing!

This is our first paper combining SWOT and seismology. I know 2 more in the pipeline and you can expect many to come. Faint phenomena that were too weak to be measured by other satellites can now help explain long-standing mysteries in Earth science with not-always-easy-to-interpret seismic signals.

Ocean waves make all sorts of noises ... including seismic noise, even at periods very close to 26 s, and these come mostly from one location in the Gulf of Guinea and are recorded worldwide. We now know which storms do it. www.nature.com/articles/s41...
Swell-driven bursts of 26 s and 16 s seismic spectral peaks in the Gulf of Guinea - Nature Communications
The study suggests that long-period seismic bursts are triggered by ocean swell through the activation of cracks and fluid movement in the crust, linking wave activity in the Gulf of Guinea to episodic seismic energy release.
