Josh Hutcherson on ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’:

“The new book’s amazing. It’s cool to see it continue with a different generation and different stories. Unfortunately, it’s still a very timely issue with authoritarian governments, so young people need to be educated.”

Gotta admit after more than two years of being called a crank and a doomer for saying that businesses will flinch when they’re made to pay the real costs of AI it’s nice to see this in the newspaper

Graphic novels turn kids into lifelong readers. They challenge readers, transform reluctant readers into readers, they bring joy. They boost vocabulary, increase reading comprehension for brains that take in information differently. They tell a story. Graphic novels are real reading, real books ✨📚😊

The Marinade's 4th Grounded Summer tour rolls on! All dates are flexible other than Bonnaroo and I'd love to play some shows along the way.

If you are in my path, let's connect. If you have a dog-friendly place to lay my head for the night, please holler.

Can't imagine why it got a 100 from women over 35 😂

To be clear, it's got a 100 from me just based on the photo. Sheesh, Superman.
‘MR. IRRELEVANT,’ starring David Corenswet, locks in a holiday release after test screenings deliver a 100 from women over 35 and a 92 overall score.

Even 2 years later, Inside Out 2 is still changing my brain chemistry. Those movies need to be taught to children, and then taught again when those kids are in high school and college. Hell, teach them to adults.

To be very clear, Spotify had to pay people to create the badges and create the algorithm, etc, etc so that they could correct the problem they created by along AI slop on their platform. Hope it was worth the money, dummies.
Spotify is now adding a 'verified' badge to human artists amid a surge in AI music

• More than 99% of the artists Spotify listeners actively search for will be verified

• AI music will still be allowed on their platform

David Harbour is Santa Claus. Kristen Bell is Mrs. Claus. And my ass is first in line.
VIOLENT NIGHT 2 has been rated "R" for:

"Strong/bloody violence, and language."

David Harbour is Santa Claus.

Kristen Bell is Mrs. Claus.

For me, 1 and 3 could be switched, but honestly, agree with Kirkman here.
Robert Kirkman ranks the ‘INVINCIBLE’ seasons:

1. Season 4
2. Season 3
3. Season 1
4. Season 2

Seeing A LOT of folks dunking on this today. It's three years old, gang. From the era when Ai companies were giving talks to Hollywood types on how Ai was magic and going to make $250M movies cost $10M. The conversation has changed dramatically since then. The Russos were repeating a sales pitch.
Jesus Christ, this is more dystopic than anything Philip K Dick ever wrote but it’s what the Russo Brothers want for your AI Slop future

Having made two nine-figure tentpole movies myself, I can assure you there is never enough time and never enough money, even at that level. The Russos (and others, like Cameron) are daydreaming about what kind of movies they could make unconstrained from studio budgets, forgetting the human cost.
Nobody wants to get rug-pulled for something they said years past, *but* they still seem pretty gung-ho about AI being an asset and not a hinderance?

Maybe that's just them playing the hollywood game to keep the big mouse happy, but doesn't it feel disappointing as a creative?

I really liked this weeks episode of The Boys, but where are the Gen V folks? Especially Marie. And it feels like we're running out of runway for this stuff. They're slowly building to the V1, and we're down to 3 episodes left. I just have concerns about landing this plane is all.

More integral, even. Academic writing is a tool for thinking, and it's the brainstorming and outlining where ideas coalesce and solidify.
“Use AI to brainstorm but not to write.”
“Use AI to help you outline but not to write.”

These are commonly proposed as “ethical” ways for undergrad students to use AI, but I’m sorry, brainstorming & outlining are just as integral to writing as the actual construction of sentences.

I do like Ciabatta, but Focaccia clears 8 days a week. A top 3 bread.
Okay, so. Ciabatta bread isn’t good. And I’m tired of pretending it is. “You haven’t had good ciabatta bread.” You’re right, I haven’t, because it doesn’t exist. It’s ruined every pesto chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I’m over it, man. Stop it.

Head canon is that this was an oversight due to Lex's arrogance/not wanting to have to sign off on "small matters". It's also just a ridiculously sized book.
Lex may be the smartest man in the world, but he’s still always learning. (The first thing he should learn, though, is how to spell “Forward.”) #Superman
