I was thinking generally of places without bike lanes. If there's a bike lane fucking use it! No excuse not to!

It sucks ass but a lot of the time I get it. In suburbs and low traffic areas I think it's more or less fine, especially on suburban arterial roads sharing space with big rigs and little to no pedestrian traffic. E-bikes make it worse. Anywhere downtown / populated is inexcusable either way.
