ive been intending to play myst ever since i figured out that the very cool ‘mystcraft’ minecraft mod was based on a real thing in like 2014 or whatever. still haven’t, tho ive played other obtuse games. but ppl saying like their grandmas played it in the replies ig doesnt hasten my need to rn lmao
i think one of the biggest underlinings in just how bad the western industry has been about its own legacy is like. myst isnt just an old game. it was final fantasy vii before final fantasy vii. it was that fucking huge.
