This is listening to the stupid high-paid consultants, who should all be shitcanned
Is anyone in the Democratic party listening? Do they care? I am guessing they don't. Because insanity is when you do the same thing over and over and get the same result. And this is not only insane but immoral, esp at this point in history.
Turek has been running a centrist campaign for a while now desperately appealing to Republicans with anti-immigrant ads (pathetically trying to sound like a milquetoast Republican) - and guess what - it's not working (via @the-downballot.com newsletter) ↘️

Saying the wrong brother died while calling Hunter Biden an evil junkie is some serious depravity. Beau died of brain cancer. Hunter battled addiction. Turning both into a cheap shot is some fucking ugly, soulless shit. Shame on you!

Peter Watts strikes again with this stellar collection of hard-SF stories. Just don't go in expecting anything resembling a happy ending, and you won't be disappointed. #sciencefiction #reviews #booksky 💙📚🪐📚

Why should the serfs resist the guiding hands of their betters? Same feudal mentality.
Why do people oppose tech billionaires breaking the law to install hundreds of diesel generators in their backyards, drive up electricity prices, and threaten their drinking water?

Apparently this is a mystery for the ages.

I just saw the 35th anniversary re-release of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, one of my all-time favorite movies. The script, co-written by James Cameron, is clumsy in places, but boy do the special effects (and Sarah Connor's badassery) still hold up. #sciencefiction #films #movies #terminator

Fucking disgusting Islamophobia. The mayor was *nine* years old, also: all Muslims do NOT bear some kind of collective responsibility for 9/11. I’m so fucking tired of this shit
This by CNN is genuinely reprehensible. Everyone involved should be embarrassed.

-The 'new pain' case vs Mamdani is *solely* his religion.
-He was in NYC on 9/11, at grade school
-Soon after attack GWB himself gave famous speech warning against blaming all Muslims for terrorism
-25 yrs later, this.

Twenty-five years after the mayor of New York City became the champion of America's grief and resilience at the time of the 9/11 attacks, families of those killed are split on whether the current mayor should attend the annual remembrance. https://cnn.it/4zkKYdc

Getting real sick of slop midwives pleading for a 'respectful discussion' of AI as relates to the arts. Your use of AI to 'make art' is not respectful. It benefits from stolen art, destroys the planet, and does not make you an artist any more than someone driving 26.2 miles is a marathoner.

Yeah, what a whiny-ass wanker. Why are some white men so fucking entitled? Why do they believe no one has the right to tell them "no"? It's fucking ridiculous.
Platner playing games and waiting until the Monday deadline to file the paperwork to withdraw is totally unacceptable. No reason he couldn’t file it today or tomorrow. He has shown in every conceivable way what a piece of garbage he is. Can’t even get out with any decency.
