Canada's "smartness score" puts it ahead of 18th-place United States, but trails other commonwealth countries and first-place Singapore.

It's amazing how some people dehumanize others simply for choosing a transportation method that doesn't involve a car.

They also hate traffic and other drivers, while simultaneously seething with rage at anyone walking, cycling, or proposing we fund better public transit.

Not a good look: arresting seniors calling on Mark Carney to not walk back our climate obligations.
In my last 2 years as MP I ran a gauntlet of threat, swarming and harassment everyday from conspiracy ragers.
House security and Ottawa police just watched.
Seems instructions have been issued.

Remember, don’t waste any time arguing whether #ClimateChange “caused” the current #wildfires.

Like EVERY consequence of the #ClimateCrisis, we KNOW that EACH WILDFIRE is made much more likely, and much worse, by the rapidly changing conditions from Climate Change.

MORE LIKELY AND WORSE.

I’ve said for years and I mean it:

If I’m ever killed on my bike or as a pedestrian: You are all expected to politicize the shit out of my death.

There would be no greater way to honor me than to use my death to prevent more senseless fatalities.

You can start doing it before I’m even buried.

The federal government is currently discussing privatizing Canada’s airports. That’s a very bad idea.

To explain, let’s look at a project we need: the proposed Alto high speed rail line from Quebec City to Toronto. And how it’s a much more difficult project because of privatization in the 90s.
