Yes, MAGA == Fascism. And for the record, "Biden. Biden. Biden" has to be weakest sauce ever. I block trolls.

I just had something of an epiphany. I can't think of a single Republican member of Congress who I would consider a decent person. Not one.
Any chances Americans have come to the realization yet that single-party governance is problematic?

Perhaps following the anticipated blue wave this November we see either a continuance of Blue Congress but with a Red President, or a swap back to a Red Congress but a Blue President?

My read is @jonahg.bsky.social is taking Trump literally but not seriously and being too dismissive of the outrageous statement the President of the United States just made.

It’s why Trump says what he says in the way he says it: like a firehose. Jonah has simply succumbed to it.

How is it not news when the president nods off in public meetings and press conferences dozens of times? If you follow independent media, you see it and know about it. But why hasn’t CBS, NBC or ABC showed a montage of it on their evening news? They simply refuse to ever show it.

Not one word about this on the TV news that I saw this morning. Primary reason: no video.

The unrelenting and soul-crushing failure of American news media
The Time interview with Trump is a master class in subjecting yourself to a stream of lies, lunacy, and insults with no correcting him, no calling out his crazy shit, nothing to show for it, nothing accomplished. It’s enabling, not journalism. They should die of shame. time.com/article/2026...

"I think you've already perjured yourself."
Smith in fact did not. The Senator had bad information he was presenting as fact

Sen. Schmitt: "I think you've already sufficiently answered…I think you've already perjured yourself."

America's Constitutional safety stop gaps failed tragically. The job now is to fix the weaknesses which will require amendments, something the nation is unlikely to achieve
"America was designed with dangers like Donald Trump in mind... We are watching America’s first real challenger to its systems, safety nets and security against a leader resembling a mad English king."

Watching and listening to Todd Blanche this morning on This Week and coming away from that experience thinking what a complete hack he is. I also wonder how he was ever successful as a lawyer. Was it simply because he knew people and knew how to coerce those relationships into personal successes?

What in the world is a "shocked Pikachu reaction"?
I think something to consider here is that Collins voted to confirm Russ Vought as OMB Director despite the fact that he said a billion times that he thought Trump had a constitutional right to illegally impound funds, and now she’s doing shocked Pikachu reactions.

This right here —

“The U.S. Senate on Thursday rejected a war powers resolution aimed at rebuking President Donald Trump over the ongoing war in Iran”

— is why we cannot have nice things. Congress is failing the nation by enabling an incompetent man on the White House.

Vote blue in November.

"it is unclear why he was not wearing the device during the shooting."

Is it? 🤔
The ICE officer who shot a Venezuelan man in Austin was not using a body camera during the Sunday incident, according to news reports.

The officer was issued a body camera, but it is unclear why he was not wearing the device during the shooting.

It was effectively banned as it never aired again.

I wonder why.

“complaint accuses Trump of violating law.”
Are we tired of reading this yet?
NEW: Trump calls his $400 million super PAC “my money that I control.”

Yet federal officeholders are legally barred from directing soft-money groups. A new FEC complaint accuses Trump of violating law.
