(Their sense of propriety and morality, too, as Palestine shows).

I believe one of the defining issues of our era for decades now has been a profound disconnect between the elite and the wider public, a disconnect that's getting deeper. If people believed what they were told, that disconnect over things like Israel/Palestine wouldn't be growing right now.

Not to say I disagree *entirely*; sometimes, maybe even fairly often, people do believe what they're told. But when something clearly threatens people's sense of security, well-being, and material interests, as I think "AI" did and does, no amount of propaganda can save it.

According to Kaldellis, you can also see the word "dogs", a common Romanoi/"Greek" slur against the Latins from the era, written above them (maybe you can see it in this image; sorry, I couldn't find a better one or one in color).

Anyway, one part I found intriguing was that in the church of Neophytos on Cyprus you can find a wall fresco depicting Jesus' betrayal by Judas. The soldiers arresting Jesus are wearing the armor of Western crusaders.

I am wondering if there's a genealogy between them and the futurist cult Elon Musk's grandfather was part of (and which probably inspired the villains in the DOCTOR WHO episode "Robot").

I don't recall any movie or story about a cursed screenplay. The closest thing I can think of is THE KING IN YELLOW.

Oh but there are plenty of people on this site who absolutely think criticizing Dems *is* encouraging people not to vote for them.

I can relate. I had to explain Chris Chan to my mom when she was mentioned on Tucker Carlson's FOX News show.

Besides the point and not nearly as important of course but I suspect this is not helping the odds of ever getting remakes of the ULTIMA games either.
