That demoralization was practically the entire period of repping for me, but I cracked when I thought "look, I know what's beyond this struggle (repressing) is just another struggle (*gestures around*), but I know I'll find more meaning in the next one"
People get demoralized when transitioning when they discover that beyond the initial identification of "the problem," transitioning itself will not make you happy. What it provides is the POSSIBILITY for happiness by allowing you to more easily participate in romance, community and self-improvement
