I got passed feedback from the @sodiumexposure.bsky.social sub-a-thon that the team needed to do less fussing over things in general so they could focus on the stream, like what I do for my own streams.

Yes, I made a workshop mod centered around Jimothy (I was asked to.)
I have, however, turned down requests to make the Jimothy Bond series, as I already have a large self-inflicted, non-raccoon backlog.
I do appreciate that Jimothy's a real one, though.

Also I've been designing mods (effectively more books) for Bookshop Simulator, and GOSH I've been busy...
(Note, everything I'm making for Bookshop Simulator is fictional, wildly swinging between "This is an original but fictional title" to "This is a spoof/design-alike of a real-world title".)

Anyway, here are our two new boys, Arséne and Raoul. We’ve had them for a year now. They’re not Misha, but they don’t need to be. They’re good boys who like cuddles.

Last night we said goodbye to Misha. We’re in a real bad way at the moment, just working through our immense grief.
We only had him for 9 years, but it was half his life, and he had an amazing run of relatively great health until very recently.
He was our lovely cuddlebug bastard, and we miss him.

The Megan invited me out to grab a couple of cleaning appliances for the house, and while we were out, we checked out an LGS and managed to score a boostie box of The First Chapter (which is either difficult to find or overpriced here). I call that a good end to the year! #Lorcana

So much so, in fact, that we took her out to an LGS and she grabbed some sleeves for her deck and quite a few boosters before we checked out some neighbourhood Christmas lights and then went back to ours to check some cards out.
Oh, and also we had some delicious, delicious cheesecake.

She’s got a few games under her belt now and even won some, she’s definitely getting the hang of it and finding it interesting!

We have a friend staying the night with us this weekend, and we introduced her to #Lorcana enough for her to give it a try. She bought her own copy of the Gateway and we walked her through the game and played a few rounds as she learned how to play.

Just got back home from #Lorcana League in the city. it was good! I managed a match win and Megan got a bye, so we walked off with a few packs! I do have a bit to say about the vibe and our experience, but it’s past midnight here and my brain’s running on fumes so I’ll post later.
