(But also as someone who makes things, I get kinda uppity about complete strangers imposing art suggestions on a stream they’ve barely been around to watch)

I have strong not great memories of being in Brisbane (which have nothing to do with the City of Brisbane, I keep telling myself), so I have three days in Late September to work through that.

And obviously, I managed to find these all off Marketplace, so of course not sponsored by @elgato.com, but they make nice products, and one day, I will get the Stream Deck + XL, and then I will pass my 4-dial buddy over to my wife. But it’s good that we can rehome some gear for good use.

Again, I am going to make a video about this, but in short, we got them.

3 Stream Decks +. (2 shown here - Editor Jess has the 3rd now)

We’re going to make arrangements to get these over to PH so the team can use them.

Lo and behold, 3 good listings - which is perfect, because their editor Jess wanted one too.

So I contacted Cheese about this and we decided this would be a great way of tangibly supporting them, and I put the inquiries through and went to bed.

Come today, I got responses. So we got to work.

So I suggested that one day, they should invest in something like a Stream Deck +, like what I’ve got.

Which got me thinking - are there any used Stream Decks + that need a forever home?

And so late last night I did something I’ve never done before - I checked Facebook Marketplace.

I’ve got a pending edit for a #geocaching video lined up, so that’s going to be done, but #Lorcana league is going to have to pause for a bit while we take care of our boy. Gonna just invite our friends over for casual play in the lead up to Archazia’s Island.

Gotta think of more home projects.

The Megan and I have both really cried our hearts out for this cat - my first pet and Megan’s cuddliest - and at this stage it’s just monitoring his condition to see if he wants to keep going.

So far he’s been eating and napping, and he’s gaining back weight, which is a good sign.

I don’t usually conduct interviews on videos - most of the vlog is just us going about us enjoying the event - but learning to respectfully interview people is a good skill to learn!
