Being good at using LLMs includes

1. Being able to provide context and craft prompts that limit the risk of hallucinations

AND

2. Having processes and frameworks to vet the quality of the output from the LLM instead of blindly trusting it.

2. Move past adoption metrics and measure business impact.

3. Show zero tolerance for AI slop in all artifacts from status reports and Jira tickets to PRDs and code. It’s a cancer.

AI enables product teams to produce more code, but that doesn’t automatically mean more business value or better software.

To achieve that, product teams need to

1. Focus on how AI accelerates the entire dev process not just coding. Ideation, problem solving, design, testing & deployment.
