Great tit & Goldfinch - gouache and charcoal on canvas.

Recently I asked my followers if they could send me their photos of dead birds, to add to my own collection, to paint. This is the first in the series!

I finally have my website up and running and have posted this for sale on there.

Quick sketch from a visit to my local art gallery - sticking to one colour simplifies things.

Bird nerds - any clue which bird this belongs to? Found in a deciduous woodland in Wales, UK. I thought either tawny owl / common buzzard? But its too pale? Juvenile? #birds #ornithology

Cabbage white butterflies have been laying on my nasturtiums! I'm careful to check the leaves before picking! 🐛

Natur Marw- gouache on gesso board, 2026.

I entered this piece into the Swansea Open exhibition at Glynn Vivian recently, but alas it wasn't chosen.

I'd like to find either an appropriate local exhibition to enter it in, or a home for it!

A break from awfulness - today I gave my next door neighbours some nasturtiums, mint, and coriander that I've grown in the garden. A simple gesture that made me feel good.

Wood anemones! I love these flowers that blanket the woodland floor in spring like a carpet of stars.

Painted this Jay on a Rowan tree as a gift for a friend recently. Making art with friends in mind adds to the motivation!

Gouache and charcoal on linen canvas.

It's a scary time to be a disabled trans person rn, but I'm seeking out joy where I can to stay sane.

My joy today was wearing this outfit and seeking out vintage treasures at the market!

The sun existed today! It felt like Spring! 🌞

My mental health isn't doing great so I need to absorb every little bit of it like a lizard.

Super pleased with how these frivolous foppish shoes turned out! I bought the shoes off Vinted (£4!) and added the trim and a pure silk bow, along with some grip for the soles so I don't slide everywhere.

Longing for January to be over. But flowers help, it helps to focus on the small things.

Re-covered my fabric box with fabric scraps, mostly in an effort to stop scrolling on my phone.

Some of these scraps are pretty old, from cushion covers my Gran had made, or from the stuffing of her cushions.

Ideally I'd have washed and ironed everything but I could not with another step.
