Happy 195th birthday Robert Howlett, photographer of this 1858 masterpiece @V_and_A

Howlett travelled to Saltash, Cornwall, in 1858 to photograph construction of the revolutionary tubular bridge designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel -now the Royal Albert Bridge.

At the home of photography #Lacock Abbey with the amazing Jo Gane re-creating a Photogenic Drawing taken by Constance Talbot in May 1839.
