As a member of Gen X, I grew up on Peter Marshall as host of the Hollywood Squares. He was a great straight man, always happy to set up Paul Lynde (and others) for risque jokes.
Today I learned that he was born Ralph Pierre LaCock (father of MLB vet Pete LaCock).
May his memory be for a blessing.
