How many more studies does your city need proving that people on bikes and on foot spend more on shopping streets than people in cars?

Bike-lanes mean business. In general, and specifically more than on-street parking or another lane for cars. #UrbanTruth

So the next time you interview a grid operator complaining about renewables and electric cars, ask him: "What incentive structure do you have in place to reward electric vehicle owners for avoiding grid congestion on the moments and locations grid congestion actually occurs?"

Europe spent years debating whether the energy transition was affordable.

Spain quietly answered the question: gas now sets its electricity price in only 7% of hours.

Strategic autonomy doesn’t arrive via summit communiqués. It’s built in advance — in wind farms, solar parks, and grid investment

Solar’s price drop is astonishing: panels are now 98% cheaper than when I first analyzed them in 2004.

Today, building a fence with solar can be cheaper than using wood.

Thermal sand batteries are scalable and can be installed anywhere. They provide an excellent complement to chemical battery storage. 🧪🔌💡☀️💨🔋
Exciting news from Finland: the world’s largest sand battery (1 MW/100 MWh) is now online!

The Pornainen project by Polar Night Energy is 10x bigger than the first commercial sand battery and sets a new benchmark for affordable, long-duration energy storage.
