Got a dream piece today: I profiled Deb Perelman aka @smittenkitchen.bsky.social about 20 YEARS of food blogging www.weareravenous.com/smitten-kitc...
The Blogosphere Came and Went. Smitten Kitchen Is Still Here.
Deb Perelman has kept Smitten Kitchen going through the rise and fall of blogging, the pivot to newsletters, and the looming specter of AI. She has no intention of stopping.

Just gonna say, as the author of the 2021 report, I stand by every single thing I wrote
center for american progress (2021): "Trans inclusive policies "which allow transgender athletes to compete in accordance with their gender identity, should be implemented nationwide."

Center for american progress in (2026): "restrictions may be appropriate under some circumstances"

Last image from tonight (short film in the morning): this brother out here with his Singer sewing machine, gifting people a custom embroidery on their jerseys and hats with the name and the date, was more artistic than anything at Burning Man and ad gorgeous as a Caravaggio.

Magic!

Goodnight.
