Kittens can now collide with ground clutter 🐱🪨
As part of our next milestone, we're adding interactions between kittens and objects scattered across the terrain.
Ground clutter can use simple collision shapes or more detailed convex hulls, like the rocks shown here.

Gosh Starship flight 13 was genuinely amazing. I can't wait for it to finally go orbital next flight, and even have a ship catch attempt! I feel like the team there is finally hitting their stride.
The rest of the year and early next year we're going to see some awesome, rapid progress.

The first version of vehicle-to-vehicle collision physics has now been committed to Kitten Space Agency.
KSA uses its existing lightweight physics methods during flight, then switches to the Bepu Physics library whenever vehicles contact each other or the terrain.

This is why I think space exploration is worth it. When you compare it to the cost of everything else, it is relatively small. In the end, we get to marvel at the majesty of our home, and are reminded of the need to protect it.
