So, my @birdofthedaybot.bsky.social is broken because eBird.org is getting hit by AI bots so hard they had to implement Anubis to block requests.
This leaves things in quite the predicament. I'll have to figure out a gentler way to pull the bird image.

Trying to learn Haskell, so I'm redoing Project Euler.
However, I'm spending hours trying to figure out Cabal and its poor documentation instead of writing code.
Sometimes I think I enjoy setting up the build architecture more than writing the code itself.

I love my 10" cast iron skillet. It's probably one of my most prized possessions.
Used it tonight to sear/bake a marinated chicken breast and it came out perfect (as usual).

Now that I learned LaTeX, I've begun responding to junk mail by writing a letter back asking to be removed from the mailing list. It takes 5 minutes and it's very satisfying.

"I'm still gonna be subscribed to HBO, what difference does it make? I wanna see them do more stuff from the books."
I don't really have a good way of fighting ambivalence like that, and I can't force someone to care
