Seeing a lots of obvious bad takes on animation, especially indie animation, to gin up "debate" that reads more like angry hornets nest stirrings. The impact will be less indie animation from anybody and less interesting animation coming out period.

Way back when, I purchased a shirt from Craig McCracken’s store that depicted this hairy little space nomad. Not two weeks after he closed the store. Cut to sometime later, Wander Over Yonder got announced, was beyond happy to see the concept realized. This remains my most prized piece of merch.

no cause it's so wild getting to the point where they start working on the loboto level pre-xbox acquisition after having just booted it back up and played it yesterday. hearing "we do not have the animation overhead to have Milla in the levitation tutorial" and I'm like "wait but she made it in!"
very very late on this but I've been finally watching through PsychOdyssey and
1. this is so compelling wow. feel so spoiled to have one of my favorite releases in the last few years documented so thoroughly and with so much humanity

Wrapped up Final Fantasy VII last night and yeah I can see why people at the time would have been changed forever after playing it. Raised the bar considerably from the previous entry, must've felt like a true game changer at the time. Glad I took the time to do as much side content as possible.

this is great and also my periodic reminder that you should watch the original Planet of the Apes films. even "Battle," which is the weakest of the five," is pretty solid. and altogether, i think it is one of the greatest science fiction series in american movies.
i did it, i finally wrote about Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey (and the Statue of Liberty, and Planet of the Apes, and Iris Murdoch)
