Democrats don’t need rapists and pedophiles to help us keep our house in order thank you very much.
Breathtaking to hear Karoline Leavitt, a spokesperson for adjudicated sexual assaulter Donald Trump, ask "why were they silent for so long?" about Democrats and Eric Swalwell.

These people have absolutely no shame.

One thousand percent this. Trump has caused this nation almost every type of trauma imaginable, every day. Trauma on top of trauma. There will come a post-Trump era and this nation will not be healed by policy or laws alone. It will require a renewed investment in mental health care and leadership.
Has anyone studied the psychic toll of years spent waking up to the unhinged rantings of a vicious madman who could kill us all — and then going about one’s day per usual?

I'm curious if leadership installed Weiss at CBS (1) knowing, or at least suspecting, that she would tank the ratings, but not caring because they mostly wanted to control mass media/suppress criticism or (2) bc they deluded themselves into thinking there is a larger market for her political slop?
Six months into Bari Weiss’ overhaul of CBS News, new ratings data obtained by Status shows its flagship programs are shedding viewers at an alarming rate, collapsing to historic lows and accelerating the network’s decline.

Here is what you need to know about the SAVE Act:

1. It started as a stunt by Mike Johnson to protect his speakership.

2. It has evolved into a massive voter suppression bill.

3. When it fails, Trump will escalate to something even more dangerous.
