The polling company JL Partners is unwilling to follow the rules, so should not be in the polling council. Also the Telegraph appears to have lied about the provenance of the poll it published. Even if they didn't know that Reform commissioned it, it was dishonest to suggest it was a Telegraph poll.

The prison population is rising so fast that we’re on course to run out of prison places by November.
If that means more people will have to be monitored in the community, it will mean more tagging.

Devolution isn't a complete growth strategy, but:
1. Greater regional variety creates more chance of evolution/learning; we'll find out better what works & doesn't.
2. Local people should know better than Whitehall how to spend money - eg what type of transport links etc need to be improved.
