I hit the Scottish food jackpot today. My order of biscuits came in but there was a second box of perishable items that turned out to be 8 Scottish beef pies, 4 haggis pies, and 2 Cornish pastys. They were supposed to go to someone in Pennylvania but a wrong shipping label was on them.

Began planning my trip to Scotland 2027. Already have a place booked in Glasgow, West End near Kelvingrove Park. Just waiting for the airlines to get the August 2027 scheduls and fares up.

My comment on it.
It isn’t close to Gaelic. It is Gaelic (Gàidhlig)as opposed to Irish (Gaeilge). Similar but two different languages.

#OTD On March 25, 1915, the U.S. Navy’s submarine F‑4 sank off Honolulu during a training dive, becoming the first U.S. submarine lost at sea. The boat settled at about 306 feet with all 21 crewmembers, who died from flooding and likely chlorine gas.
