We had to have a broker sit down and walk us through medigap and all the plans for my mom. Genuinely the wildest part is that the top tier non-advantage plan is the same with every company buy the monthly prices vary by hundreds. Again, this is the no-copay, go to any provider accepting medicare.
Well. "Senior" here is 65 and older. This stresses me out, and I'm 50. What the fuck is our healthcare system gonna be in 15 years?

The annoying thing about the trans sports debate is that the compromise is simple. If we simply allow for a safe environment for gender-questioning kids to access therapy and trans care, the question becomes moot because there won't be any trans girls going through male puberty in the first place.

Trans rights is inherently a bodily autonomy issue. Just like abortion rights is. We can't have gender equity or reproductive freedom without trans rights. Full stop.

Unpopular opinion: I hate backyard fire pits in dense neighborhoods. It’s finally nice enough to have windows open with cool temps & clean air but my neighbors are creating air pollution with their stinky, smokey fire pits. Having asthma sucks.
