How come, in the UK, none of my concerns e.g. affordable housing, climate action, increases in welfare spending, scrapping tuition fees, an ethical foreign policy, are ever framed as "legitimate concerns"? lnstead I am routinely told to fuck off by most political parties.

As I board the ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki, I’m reminded yet again of three things about the EU:

1) You don’t sacrifice any of your national identity or culture by being part of the EU. Estonia remains Estonia. Finland remains Finland

2) Schengen is great.

3) Brexit was and is shit.

Ex-fuckin-actly
Twats often argue that immigration has diluted British culture, but we tend to ignore the elephant in the room: the influence American culture has had on Britain over the last 40 years or so. I mean, proms. WTF?

If we'd frozen peoples rent in 2022 - the average UK household would be saving £2400 every year.

And saving the Government £2bn a year!

Any Government who is serious about ending Rip Off Britain would bring in rent controls now.

How disrespectful was that by the BBC sports desk? Their touching tribute to Kevin Keegan, who died today, missed out the most significant club he ever played for where he had his most prolific goal scoring season ever in the top flight. A true Saint, thank you #7.

For those who have forgotten the past 40 years:

Tax cuts for the rich
...don’t trickle down

Boosting military spending
...doesn’t bring peace

Slashing regulations
...doesn’t create jobs

Folks, we’ve seen this all before.

Absolutely spot on. Tweet of the day in my opinion. It's the racists who are 'out of touch'.
The joy today is that hatred lost. Doesn't matter what you think of Burnham. Farage tried to invite a race riot. He dealt in explicitly racial rhetoric. If he'd won, many journalists would have considered it a vindication of his approach and branded our outrage evidence of how out of touch we are.

But bans only treat the symptom, not the problem.

This sums the whole situation up perfectly.
BREAKING:
Indigenous white people commit riot and arson.

Incompetent indigenous white police fire water cannon.

Indigenous white politicians who fucked up our economy discuss "legitimate concerns" in lying newspapers owned by indigenous white tax evaders.

Immigrants somehow remain the problem.

When will 'the people' start to understand?
Wealth of 157 UK billionaires now equals £670bn, 22% of GDP.

Return on wealth (dividends and capital gains) is taxed at lower rates than wages.

Extreme concentration of wealth facilitates political power, corruption, economic control.

Wither democracy.
