Yesterday, I sent a letter about how the Old English word “orc” became part of Ukraine’s language of war.

Here, russian occupiers are often called orcs.

The word travelled across languages, cultures and centuries before it reached us.

Cloudy in Kyiv today.
I was editing more photos from the exhibition.

🇺🇦 Yevhen Leshchenko with his paradise art.

Ukrainian art is still new to much of the world. But slowly, it is being discovered.

When Iran starts firing jet powered drones they got from us into Isreal, Donald will act as if no one could have predicted it.

He'll probably blame Ukraine for forcing Russia to develop them by not surrendering.

Ukraine needs American help, but "no one will do anything for us." He added that unity and sanctions pressure on Russia should be maintained.

I need people that are understanding and sympathetic to really think about terror.

What happened 25 years ago in America happens pretty much daily in Ukraine for almost 5 years.

A jet-powered drone is circling over the right bank of the capital and the suburbs at an altitude of over 10 km (!)

Can you imagine that altitude and the speed at which it can attack a target on the ground??

And the second question - how can you shoot down such a drone???

I’ve been reading this book slowly. It’s full of my notes and highlights.

A renowned Yale historian draws parallels with the past and explains why the risk of another Great Power war is growing.

For those trying to understand what mistakes from the past we are repeating now.

All day long Kyiv has been under drone attack.
Explosions, fires and thick smoke.

My answer to the war is Paradise Art. It’s a movement established by 🇺🇦 artist Yevhen Leshchenko.

I visited his exhibition the other day.

Yesterday, I sent a letter about the “russian world”, an ideology of russia’s special mission and influence beyond its borders.

I traced how it evolved over centuries.

Today, attacks on Kyiv resumed. They show what this “mission” looks like.

You know, Ukrainians can "run out of food" in only one circumstance: when a Chekist occupier stands on their land pressing a Nagant revolver to their temple and seizing the grain they honestly grew to fund his deranged imperial schemes, as has happened more than once before.

The sky over Kyiv Oblast tonight.

While I was photographing this, a fighter jet roared high overhead. Then came a burst of rapid cannon fire, and moments later something crashed to the ground somewhere in the distance -- a Shahed, I guess.
