To be fair, sacking a manager because winning a trophy and finishing 17th is “unacceptable”, then proceeding to finish 17th with no trophy, then spending £400m and finishing 17th again, would be the funniest thing this football club has ever done.

As Jesus famously said, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you, unless it has no impact on Fifa or Israel"
A boycott of Ireland's games with Israel may have moved a small step closer, as a section of the FAi has backed calls to hold an EGM to discuss a boycott.

But the Taoiseach has warned that any boycott may have “no impact at all” on Fifa or Israel.

M Martin has become the embodiment of fighting to maintain the status quo, no matter if it is good or bad.

His refusal to concede any change can be better than stasis is building pressures throughout the society.

When he goes, they will vent.

Lots of Americans coming on here to try wash their hands of this being the actions of a lone despot, as if they haven't been complicit in even worse than this while "the other side" was in power 18 months ago.. why have you not done anything by now if you're so against war?

Worked beyond their wildest dreams, insane to think the precedent this sets. Get called out for genocide? Simply bomb another country and you'll have the US and UK rowing in behind you before the week is out
Israel banked on loads of world leaders forgetting about the genocide cause they decided to start bombing a different neighbouring country, and it has completely worked.
The fact that this is a headline. The fact that they have been slaughtering people seeking aid for WEEKS.
