Armand Traore stepped away from football entirely after retiring and moved to Spain to reset after what he describes as a mental health crisis.

I spoke to him about post-retirement support, combat sports giving him the structure he craves, and his charity boxing match against Sebastien Bassong
I never played for Arsenal again after 8-2 loss – I've changed sports
The former defender saw his Arsenal career end on a disappointing note and ultimately stepped away from football entirely to pursue a very different path
