this quiz is, itself, disinfo!
There are many different kinds of Trump supporters. Some are simply clueless.
Here. Take this quiz. It tells you about clueless low info voters. Most high info voters flunk it.

when you tell us that the people who murdered comity and civility—who are trying to kill and rob and enslave us—are actually your dear friends, you don’t create civility, but despair; we see you don’t actually believe the danger is real, can’t be trusted to fight the battle that needs to be fought.

We used to call this stupidity. There were smart people and stupid people and we let the smart people do the things they were good at and the stupid people were taken care of and didn't need to worry about what the smart people were doing. But now we let the stupid people think they're smart.

It was wild to find out how many “tough” people’s breaking point was not being able to get a haircut or go to a bar for a few months. The slightest discomfort of wearing a mask drove people over the edge, which is really scary to think about.
My takeaway from the pandemic is that people were way more traumatized by the interruption to their lives than by all the death and I don’t think people want to think about that because, man, it’s really uncomfortable!
Frankly, I think people tell themselves that the country is outraged and traumatized at being left to death and disease because that's less unsettling than the more obvious explanation, which is that people were largely ambivalent about mitigating COVID risk after the pandemic's most acute phase.

Millions of American voters wanted to be villains. They came to believe it’s the key to success, while goodness is weak, woke, loser stuff, done only to signal.

Offered the option of unvarnished villainy, they enthusiastically took it. Seeing others suffer more made them feel big.

And here we are.

The tortoise “news” should be a lesson for journalists to actually do their job and not take anything posted on Twitter at face value. Will they learn? No.
