Having been directly accused of being in a sex cult with people for no other reason than some of the other trans women in the group were in relationships with each other, yeah I wish people would stop slinging that phrase around.

I don’t think I have it in me to reinvent kubecolor from scratch in another language so whenever I push this to a public git repo I’ll let someone else do it and everyone can see my shame. My code reads very much like someone with ADHD who is unmedicated.

Hit send before I remembered to alt text:
Pic 1 - a terminal with the printed output of a kubectl get command for pods in the kube-system namespace with borders around the columns and no color
Pic 2 - the same table but with no borders and the column headers are green, probably, I’m colorblind.

Low-key I can't live without kubecolor and I wish it was built-in 😔

Every time someone asks for a new flag for kubectl create we add 6 more months to the backlog plans for adding colored output.

If I can get this working I want to implement multicluster commands.

I had a podcast a long time ago that I pray no one ever discovers my association with and I would listen to the recordings back. It was like knives in my ears for an hour straight.

Plan nothing, make it up in the spot, make the slides no more than 24 hours before the talk, completely dissociate on stage so you only know if it went well based on the recordings, this is my strategy.

You just gotta like relax back into it. Let it wash over you like a warm bath but actually the bath is a tsunami of spider babies and you are relaxing into the fading of your consciousness as they drain you of your blood. Circle of life.
