Hello and thanks for the Pride artshare. I am Shade, a genderfluid, pansexual artist and activist. I do a wide variety of artwork but often deal with nature and animal themes.
Shade the AshClad in the form of a silver fox, leaping into the air (or perhaps suspended in the air) with a massive ribbon wrapping around em. One side of the ribbon displays the pansexual pride colours while the other side has the genderfluid pride colours. Efforts to raise tech-literacy for parents and the general public, to better understand online risks, will actually protect. Sex-ed that teaches safety and the value of clear-and-informed consent will actually decrease assault. Education, not prohibition, is the answer!

If porn bans prevail, it is decidedly more likely for our very existence to be criminalised at the stroke of a politician's pen. And the same method could be used to eradicate anyone the state decides is undesirable. It is a gun hanging over all our heads.

Kink allows us to finally feel normal to be in the presence of those who revel in our experiences instead of being disgusted by them. It can be a vital source of healing and empowerment. The criminalisation of kink not only robs survivors of that, but also threatens to persecute us for it.

Also, the bans will directly revictimise some abuse survivors because many of those interested in taboo kinks *are* survivors. One survey, for example, shows that folks who experienced severe CSA are nearly 3x more likely to be extremely aroused by incest than those who did not experience CSA.

A graph of survey data comparing the likelihood of being extremely aroused by incest with the severity of childhood sexual abuse one has experienced. Those who reported no CSA reported extreme arousal of incest at a rate of 3.1%, mild CSA at 3.8%, moderate CSA at 5%, and severe CSA at 8.3%. This significant increase implies that most of those with an incest kink are survivors of CSA.

Before I go on with government overreach, is there a valid reason for these bans? MP, Alex Davies-Jones said, "watching incest porn risks normalising child sexual abuse." This is the whole justification for the ban and is also a lie. There is no significant link of porn nor incest kink to CSA.

Note that the inclusion of a skip option with a value of 0 in the survey question regarding sexual contact with children may have skewed the results slightly. However, after viewing the data in several different plots to account for the potential error, I saw no discernible deviation from the trend.
