And most voters tbf There was sufficient information out there for the average person who chose to engage to predict it would be bad. Voters need to own their part. Ditto Johnson and Trump. It was possible to foresee the issues.

We are certainly dependent on China for a lot of things and consequently lack any power to defend eg pro democracy campaigners in Hong Kong. I am more concerned about human rights issues tbh.

I mean their refrain is everything is broken so tax cuts will really help fix the potholes, prison crisis, NHS crisis. She’s espousing all the policies-including Brexit- that created the mess. Oh and they want to cut taxes and increase defence spending. Make it make sense.

Agree. I thought McCluskey did a lot of harm to Labour (probably cost a couple of GEs), but this one seems intent on handing power to Reform.
