The government’s public consultation on hunting is now open.

The more of us who respond, the stronger the signal to decision makers that wildlife deserves real protection, outnumbering those who want this cruelty to continue.

We would prefer no Woodcock are shot for so-called 'sport' - it's a red listed species! But we do welcome this long-awaited (4 yrs!) review as a first step & fully expect the shooting season to be shortened. We'll provide consultation guidance shortly.

Tens of millions of partridges are bred in cages, raised in sheds, and then dumped into fields, just to be shot for fun.

This is all legal. And it’s happening right now across Britain.

We’re campaigning to end bird shooting once and for all. Please follow us and join the fight. ✊🌱

❗Yesterday, we responded to reports that NatureScot has granted a licence to allow the killing of up to 500 baby gannets.

The news that the traditional guga hunt had been approved to return later this year gained significant media coverage & raised public awareness of this archaic practice.
