Yes! Cut off a middle finger-size snippet and pour boiling water over it. (Cover the cup with a plate while it steeps 5ish minutes.) It has a really nice taste. We add honey to it.

Ooh fun—I’d love to know how it turns out! For something on the shorter side, may I suggest Carmilla? Also in addition to popular Jane Eyre or Wuthering Heights, there’s The Turn of the Screw. I can’t say it’s a favorite, but I appreciate it better now (1st read in a Literature & the Occult class.)
