Probably one of the most straightforward halves of football going for England that, Croatia defensively all over the place

Had to be the quickest appointment for a flu jab ever that, done for another year

Basically the crux of hopes City will get booted out the premier league are hugely tempered by the fact 3/4 of the PL clubs would have to vote in favour of that, and you just know enough of them won’t do so, so it’ll be other punishments

That film called #Hope certainly looked promising and for two thirds of its (lengthy) run time it delivers a really good mix of action, tension and comedic moments as the small town of Hope Harbour in South Korea tries to battle an invading creature, unseen for a long spell

Good to have Slow Horses back, definitely one of Apples best shows, and at least there’s another couple of seasons already confirmed

If that’s going to be England’s starting defensive line up then they’re going to be conceding more than one pretty regularly

Been a decent game between England and Spain, bonus that none of ours are currently playing, no doubt Lee Dixon is bouncing at Pickford not playing

Fury Joshua officially for Cardiff then, though notably no mention of what will be the stupidly late start time for the fight for an American audience (that it’s debatable will be that bothered about it) given it’s a Friday night event

TBF Burnham isnt set to scrap the drinking ban at football, just pointing out an inconsistency-it’d still mean missing minutes of the game to actually get a drink, usually overpriced anyways

Worst consequence is you’d have titheads who’d throw the pint in the air like at a box park for social likes

Having some images I created for a white paper at work described as cool and banging by colleagues was a nice part of the day

Also my Canadian eTa still has a few years left which was a nice surprise and saves a few pounds on a renewal too - a nice win 🇨🇦

Merseyside Derby at 12pm on a Sunday, who signs off on these things

Wouldn’t be saying much to say that Resident Evil is an improvement over films that have come before it in the series, but it does feature a couple of decent moments and a surprising amount of light comedy into the story. Still pretty forgettable fare

Straight out of the classic Maguire OG handbook that one, though why didn’t Lammens try and save that with his hands…

Glad for Lampard that Coventry finally got off the mark today

Obviously disgraceful decision to rule out our second that we did score, reckon if that fiasco in the Manc derby didn’t happen then VAR wouldn’t have got involved in it - think that Fleming who came on for them must’ve been injected with Hulk juice before the way he went about it
September 19, 2026 at 4:38 PM
Pleased with the win obviously but should’ve put that game to bed without the ruled out goal, with Johnson’s errant finishing on two occasions wasting chances. Final pass & decision making werent great but we had enough to see us through at least

Pity we’re not playing Chelsea this weekend as they look defensively all over the shop so far - got enough going forward to win games but look likely to concede every game

Following the no kids rule for my cousins wedding last Saturday, my niece has keenly said she wants to have involvement doing something helpful on my wedding day

Nice sentiment, though she’ll be in for a long wait as I’m not even dating anyone 🤣🙃

Great take and finish by Alcaraz!

Problem with Johnson up front is he’s not going to hold the ball up or win a physical battle against their centre halves (not that Barry was doing much of that before but….)
