Least in the plaza earlier they had the good sense to play some AC/DC pre game - no extra seating though snd no fan zone hosted by @giuliabould.bsky.social disappointingly. The stadium & plaza is still a stunning site on a day like today though

Coming to the end of heatwave number 6 for the summer - roadside verve matches the farmers field behind it perfectly colour wise…

Great to have a catch up with old colleagues earlier, and then have one of these when I got back to Hereford at the deservedly award winning Leaven Pizza, plus obligatory brownie of course

Another great takeaway from the Burger Shop this evening, just to reiterate it’s not just the Beefy Boys that do great burgers in Hereford - or Worcester for that matter! - they knock the sweet potato fries out the park too 👌

Auto belay on a side wall, no problem

Auto belay routes on a corner section with wide open space all around - 😳

Very handy the climbing centre has a few of these about, and as it’s quiet no apologies if I’ve essentially nabbed it for the duration!

As we go through another heatwave, a look back to 11 months ago when a similar dry spell occurred leaving the river Wye levels in Hereford exceptionally low. The reduction exposed the river bed enough to walk down, though it remained deep enough for some local wildlife to keep going regardless.

Only a mere 31 here today apparently….

A lot of fans are enjoying the cities of the US during the World Cup, but the States does have it’s share of beautiful natural scenery to take in too, including the Midway Geyser Basin in Yellowstone.

More from Yellowstone available to see here…

Was great to see BC Place in full voice for #Canada second #WorldCup game, Vancouver was a great visit a few years back. From the harbour front, Stanley Park and its totem poles & much to see nearby including the Gastown Steam Clock (not steam powered!)

Continuing the #worldcup host first game theme, and waterfalls, the #USA isn’t short of those either, one example being Mesa Falls. Roughly 114 feet (35 m) high and 200 feet (61 m) wide, and viewed from several platforms nearby, where these shots were taken from.

More from Idaho

As it was #Canada’s first game of the 2026 #WorldCup a look back to a couple of photos taken almost ten years ago, on a visit to Montmorency Falls.

Take on Fujifilm Provia RDPIII 100F 35mm film & available to buy in various formats here bit.ly/4v2HPfj

Quiet for a fair bit of time at the Boulder wall today, definitely some eclectic music choices going on, very much retro disco for a while! 🕺🏻
