Sunshine through the wattle during my walk today.
Another way back to my ‘self’ is to let my old sense of self go. Gently.
My new self-identify is a more mature version who embraces my life experience. She is happy to share without building a sense of obligation and expectation. I like this part of myself.

I have been looking for ways to find my way back. Back to what? Back to participating in society in ways that don't make my nervous system want to turn itself inside out. Ín gentle ways. In ways that work with my strengths and don't erode my confidence. I continue as a carer in the meantime.

I am writing a workhop talk about 'modern witchcraft today' and I'm actually not focusing on the definitions of 'modern' anything anchored or defined in the past >70yrs ago....what a concept! Thoroughly enjoying pulling my thoughts together so far.

And when folks start to charge beyond covering costs and shifting into a profit model, it transforms relationships to a service provider/customer dynamic. And that alters things. In my opinion it's not a healthy dynamic in Australian Witchcraft spaces. #witchsky #australianwitchsky

Sometimes the tiniest things can feel so subversive. I often replace the word “work” with “labor” in my day to day conversations and it always makes people pause and starts conversations. “Oh after Pilates it’s time to go labor.” “What sort of labor do you perform?”
