I’ve seen first hand (well, ”brain” I suppose) how narrow gen AI can vastly improve health outcomes for everyone at a fraction of the financial and environmental cost of LLMs . It’s like almost anything else, application and usage matters when judging benefits.

I’m a big believer in AI but also in maintaining balance so reading Empire of AI. The human factors in the creation of generative AI will have serious impacts on the product produced, they can’t not do.
