Unfortunately, MUCH of our agricultural growing soil is contaminated with heavy metals—my understanding is that it’s in many of the chemicals used to grow (fertilizers, pesticides, etc). So it isn’t naturally occurring trace amounts we’re looking at, it’s the result of destructive practices.
