I also would like money. Musicians are quite known for not having money. Composition of music is a particularly unrewarding task, financially speaking. Asking me for money is a fairly pointless exercise.

I saw a comment from someone about wanting to travel to Japan and Mexico (both excellent choices) with the clear implication that other countries would not be visited. So I’m going to post some pics from Australia. These photos are from a trip to Royal National Park at the southern end of Sydney.

Zoe Reynolds from Spooks/MI-5 (different name for tv show, depending where you live). She left still believing in the mission, and when they need a surprise cameo at the very end from someone who had to believe in the mission… she would have been perfect, and way better than the character they chose

Barney likes to eat paper and cardboard. All important documents need to be in hard plastic folders. Tissue boxes need to be kept up high.

I just found out about #BlueSkyArtShow, and I’m overjoyed that photos are allowed. This is a limestone cliff face at the south end of Pearl Beach, New South Wales, Australia.

Going home from hearing the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, they played Ives’s The Unanswered Question, Westlake’s Percussion Concerto with solist Rebecca Lagos and Holst’s The Planets (with an accompanying film titled Loss, starring Emma Thompson. Yes, the Emma Thompson!). Fabulous all round!

The darker cat is Jacko (RIP) and the lighter cat is Poppet. Note how Poppet is curled up and self contained, but Jacko is sprawled and open. That’s both of their personalities in a nutshell!

& this is Jacko. Jacko was a rescue, so we don’t know his parentage, although he seemed to have traces of Russian Blue. We had to put him down in July. Jacko enjoyed jazz funk, being picked up, and having someone lie down next to him. In this photo, he is about to struggle while we give him meds
