In the meantime, I've been working on Tazawa Shigurē's world book and art style for the past few weeks. Good news is I have 7 chapters (Vol 1) written out. Bad news is that's 280 pages to illustrate.

I learned that art is 90% planning and thinking, 10% painting. I thought about everything before making a single stroke.
Lastly, I learned that it is easier to ink before getting on a plane, to avoid air sickness. Heh

In this project:
I learned that painting in monochrome helps me understand structure easier by keeping everything in only two dimensions without color.
I learned that not all parts of a painting need to be detailed. There is a focus and you have to be clear about what it is.
