This is so fucking true.

I NEVER thought I'd see people in my lifetime of all stripes wearing keffiyehs in public and risking their careers for Palestinian liberation. I couldn't imagine this. Ever.

It's moving, it's beautiful, it's unbelievable.

And yet it's real.
solidarity is a beautiful thing to witness. ten years ago if you told a Palestinian that multiple artists would drop out of a career-changing tour in solidarity with their people against genocide, they would not believe you.

never give up hope in any struggle for liberation, never stop fighting.

For the second straight day, the White House's taxpayer-funded incitement account is attacking me and oddly mentioning I'm in my 40s (which I know makes me way too old for the president)

When they do this it results in a flood of harassing and threatening messages, which of course is the point

I was proud to begin this day of remembrance alongside FDNY Commissioner Bonsignore by laying a wreath at the foot of the Firemen’s Memorial. For more than a century, this monument has honored the heroes who risk their lives to keep us safe.

For years, New Yorkers have demanded access to City records about the lasting health impacts of the horrific September 11th attacks. For years, they have been denied and ignored.

That ends today.

I’ve donated to @globalvoices.org and if you have any spare cash, it’s a great organization to support. Spreading the word is also awesome if you can’t donate.
Thanks to some wonderful donations over the weekend we are nearly at $7000, which would be, if my math is right.....never mind it's not a nice round fraction, but a nice round number nonetheless! Help us get there? globalvoices.org/donate/

I've never seen such an effort to censor a document as I have the Amnesty International report on gender critical groups because of JK Rowling.

They removed the report from the Wayback Machine and now I got a DMCA strike on my Google Drive for having it. It was deleted and removed from my account.

This is, in my opinion, not only the correct moral/ethical/legal position but also the correct political framing. Everyone can see the agency is out of control; everyone can see that it is constantly violating human rights. "Scrap it and start over" is the moderate position.
