- I’m sure there are arguments against this setup, not least that, unlike with Ireland (a non-Commonwealth country whose citizens can also vote here if they’re resident here), it’s not reciprocal, but don’t make the argument by cherrypicking countries you think your supporters will think undesirable

- They can’t just turn up; they have to be living here legally
- For how long I don’t know but it’s likely to be the same or similar for all Commonwealth citizens regardless of origin
